The past few days weather and fishing have meshed together so well it’s fishing heaven on the White River. It’s hard to beat and the two gents below are a testament to that.
They are comfortable and were catching fish one after the other and releasing unharmed. May is always a great month for perfect temps but can be a bit of a drag as far as storms that pass through. It looks as though this coming week has some rain in it and yesterday afternoon a front came through and dropped the temps 20 degrees and put us in the 60’s Todays high will be in the mid to upper 60’s and looking out further Monday brings a chance of rain. The lake level is at 657.69 and hasn’t really moved much with the small amount of generation we’ve been getting. Our low water days ended Thursday when we went back to 24 hour generation. It’s not much and varies from 4,000 CFS to 8,000 CFS
