Wadeable Water Continues.

Low Water or No Generation

Once again some wadeable water this past week and it should continue today as the predicted generation schedule is exactly the same for today as it was for yesterday.  We did dodge some major rain yesterday as a heavy storm that passed through Oklahoma and western Arkansas dissipated as it approached the White River.  Later in the afternoon we did have a short thunder boomer which lasted less than a half hour.  The lake level is at 657.52 and remains stable even though we did get some heavy rains a couple of days ago and did get some heavy rains in the water shed north of us.  Caddis hatches continue and are prolific on the upper end of the river from Rea Valley up to the dam.  Lots of different types of flies are working from soft hackles to midges and some drys.  Not much in the way of crowds this past week unlike last week.  When generation does begin it quickly ramps up to 6 units or so which is keeping the current lake levels stable.
