Surprisingly uncrowded on the river’s, the lakes and on the streets of Bull Shoals. It kind of looked like a real busy weekend and not like the holiday weekend that it usually looks like although the Norfork was a bit crowed at the two public accesses there. I did only spend one day on the river with my nephews and my brother in law who loves to fish. It was fun and the 7 & 9 year old caught some fish which of course keeps them from getting bored.
It’s amazing how a competition can develop between two young boys when it comes to fishing. Zach being the younger of the two wanted to quit as soon as he passed up his cousin in numbers of fish so he could say he was the winner. It was a fun morning with the three of them and I don’t get to see Nick and his dad Mike much during the year so this was a special day for all of us.
