White River Arkansas: Lower Flows

We are finally getting lower flows on the White River below Bull Shoals Dam.  Early mornings are generally starting with 4 to 5 units and then dropping down to as little as two units.  Fishing from the dam down to cotter is good on midges of various types as well as Sculpin imitations.  Tight drifts on seams and hi spots are the target areas.  Long leaders with two BB shot on higher water and one # 1 shot on two units.

Tight Lines.

I have 25 years experience guiding on the White River and have taught 100's of folks how to fly fish. I welcome newcomers. My casting instruction technique is simple, gentle, easy going and highly productive. All trips are catch and release only.
