Our temps for this week have been comfortable to say the least with highs in the low 90’s and mid to high 80’s an night time temps below 70. This mornings temp is 58 so I should remember to take a light jacket with me. Generation for today is should be with a weak one unit of water and amping up later in the afternoon to three or four units. Hopper action on low water is pretty good as on wednesday we did a hopper dropper thing and did well with lots of numbers of fish. Reports coming into the shop from the dam also indicate a chernobyl ant with a dropper was a big producer as well. Midges dropped from either a hopper or chernobyl ant will bring plenty of action on no generation water.
Dave and Mike drove down from Springfield to fish a half day on the White. I was a bit worried about the morning with a full moon and a north wind but the trout cooperated with us all morning long.
This afternoon we will know what generation for the weekend will be.
