Fishing has been good on the White River in Arkansas. This past Labor day weekend saw both some low wadeable water as well as generation when fishing from a boat was the best way to cover some territory. Hoppers are starting to slow down with every cold front that passes through but this is a good sign as fall is approaching rapidly which means that we have a fall caddis hatch that will soon be upon us. Flows and generation are friendly at this time with a good mix of different kinds of water that’s friendly to the novice or experienced fly fisher. Book your fall trip now.
