That’s really nice, Jimmy. I first met Charlie online through the VFB chat room in 2003 and then later, in person, at my first Sowbug. It was actually the first time I met you, at the party we had at Wildcat. He was still working at the convenience store at the time and we go back and forth in the chat room about awesome bluegill ponds and Jimmy Buffett music. It gets said a lot, but he was truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. The kind of guy that makes you want to be a better person. Thanks for putting that on your site.
I sure miss Charlie… I just hope he’s saving us a spot on the river to fish with him again someday…
Nicely done pal. Keeping Charlie’s memory alive makes it so we don’t miss him as much. I was one of those that were lucky enough to call him friend. Thank you for the memorial.
First time I met Charlie was at the first SowBug I went to. One of the nicest people I have ever met. MIss him every time I look at the crowq feather Istil have that he gave me.
