The lake is down to 656.04 above MSL and has dropped 9 inches over the last 24 hour period ending at 7:00 am this morning. There is 2′ ft 1/2″ inches to go to hit normal pool elevation which should happen this week barring any major rains. I don’t know if generation will stop or just slow down at that point. I suppose power demand and the lakes above Bull Shoals will determine that one. The lake temp was at 46f as of 6:00 am sunday. Generation continues at 22,900 CFS which is 7 units and is scheduled to do so for today. The NorFork is running two units and is at 552.77 Both lakes are dropping fast. Today we are supposed to hit 67f. at at 8:30 am we have heavy wet fog.
Congrats to the Viks. Romo sucks. Geaux Saints.
Fishing was good again on sunday throughout the day. We started with egg patterns fished on bottom which produced all day long. We did try shad patterns for a short period of time with no luck Marc & Aaron from Kansas City, Mo were my fisherman for the weekend and we had a ton of fun in a beautiful warm day 55f fishing on the upper end of the White River. Lots of fish for the day with 6 brown trout caught. Aaron got the big one for sunday at 18 inches and Marcs was 15 1/2 inches. Here are some pics of Mark and Aaron. As you can see from the smile on Marks face he is quite pleased and did a good job of fighting the fish and getting it in. Aarons brown trout fought well and took a little time to get in.
