Shad continue to come through Bull Shoals Dam and have done so again on Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning. I fished once again with Aaron and Marc from Kansas City Mo for two days on Sat and Sun. We did get the opportunity to fish on the surface with a dropper and did pretty good on numbers of fish and caught lots of good rainbows. No big fish this time around! Fishing the surface and watching the takes is a heck of a lot of fun and Marc and Aaron got pretty good at it. Looks like we are in a full bore shad kill with shad trickling through and keeping the fish interested rather than pouring through and causing the fish to gorge themselves. Lets hope this continues this way.
