January is shaping up to look like a good month to fish if the weather holds out. Our lake level is coming down after some pretty heavy rains in late November and through December which should lead to some more low water wadeable days. We sure don’t want to see flood gates open to the degree we saw this past May and June which lead to some flood damage to property. Although I must admit that fishing some bigger water (50,000 CFS) is a lot of fun and really turns on the big brown trout. So some more normal weather and water flows would be nice for a change. Welcome
I have been offering guided fly-fishing trips on the White River and Norfork River in Arkansas for trophy brown trout and rainbow trout since 1995. Let me show you one of the most overlooked trophy trout fisheries in the country.
