From Rim Shoals to Tool Creek Myself, Steve Nelson and Ron Y. started fishing at the lower end of the river. It was a slow start to the day with the strikes few and far between but with a few minor changes and some different sections of the river things pick up for sure. In the afternoon we took a ride up to Tool creek and got into some numbers of fish right away and continued hammering them till the day was done.

Today we are fishing the upper end of the river closer to the dam with our crew of 7 fisherman. Some of them are a bit new at it however they are catching on and looking like pros already.
Water levels were at 2 and 3 units for the day with some heavier generation cranking up at 3:00 pm. Being 24 miles downstream from the dam we never saw the big water but are hoping to find it today. A big rise provides a good chance to hook a good fish.
Lake Level:
The lake has dropped pretty fast considering the low flows during the day and is down to 655.98 above MSL and should drop another 1/4 to a 1/3 of a foot today. Some rain is predicted to fall today but it should not be much.
