The rain began thursday evening and it rained all night long here in Bull Shoals and into the next day when it finally quit at 2:00 pm in the afternoon. The lake level has risen and is currently at 659.14 as of 5:00 am this morning and is 5 feet above normal pool. We received 4 inches of rain at the dam and more in the water shed above us. San Juan worms in brown along with various midges have been working well. Chernoble type ants continue to work at the dam along the banks. We should start seeing some caddis as well. Flows as of this morning are at 2450 CFS. The schedule for today calls for 3000 to 4000 CFS for the day with more in the evening.
