A consistent 4 1/2 units most of the day with a drop of a foot and a half in the late afternoon. Some good streamer fishing according to one of my guide buddies today.

Some very cold temps are in the forecast through this coming weekend which should drop the lake temps down the the 42F number needed to cause a shad kill.  This is what I call the magic number or the temps generally needed to cause shad to move towards the dam and get pulled through the turbines.  Generation of course is needed for this to happen as well and it looks good as there is plenty of water in the lake for this to happen and there should be plenty of power demand as well. Shad are stacking up in the coves near the dam this past week is another good sign of movement towards a shad kill on the White River in Arkansas.
