Finally some low water

Pat & Genie picked a heck of a day to fish in that yesterday was the first day since June 9th we have seen low water. It was shut off at 8:00 pm the day before which was perfect. Our first spot was the mail box ant bruce creek shoals. The numbers of fish we caught was incredible the first hour. Our next stop was partee shoals and once again the bite was non stop and the fish where fat and healthy. In fact Pat made the comment that the fish were bigger here than the last spot. Since one unit was turned on at 9:45 am I headed back down stream to stay in front of it and stopped at the hump in no name shoals. Once again the bite was great. Began teaching Pat the snake roll and close in fishing and how to extend drifts which he picked up quickly. I had two flies on and was hoping we could get two fish at the same time. But alas the water hit us so we moved down to the bottom of the narrows and ate a late lunch. One fish was caught as a storm moved in. We didn’t want to battle lightning so we called it a day at 2:00 pm. One heck of a bite on this day. Looking forward to next time Pat & Genie.
