Yesterday morning with 4 1/2 units on at Bull Shoals Dam our first drift produced a fish on the Gonzo Shad Hop a shad looking fly tied like a chernobyl hopper. Dang thing works well. White was the color in the morning with eggs taking front seat later on in the day. Not crowded at all in the C&R area. the lake is still at 44f. near the shoreline and a little cooler out in the center at 43f. Sleet, freezing rain and more snow are predicted for the ozarks today. As of now it is sleeting with snow and rain mixed in.
