The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will use a combination of turbine and spillway releases from Norfork Dam starting at 8 a.m. today, and a similar combination of releases from Bull Shoals Dam starting at a time to be announced Wednesday to evacuate an unusually high volume of water in both reservoirs behind the dams.

Is that extreme flow going to scrub out the spawning beds or am I a little early on that one?
