No Generation today until roughly noon. The water has been shut off for the disabled veterans yearly trip which is out of Newlands Resort this year.

So far this month the rain gage at the visitor center at the dam shows 5.88 inches of rain and thus far today since midnight 1.19 inches. Most of this rain has fallen since this past Thursday. The lake has risen to 657.15 or about 3/4 of a foot in the last 24 hour period and is up about 2 feet since this rain began. The Buffalo is up to 14 feet as of this morning and the Crooked Creek is out of it’s banks. Generation began yesterday at noon with 4 units and went to 6 units by 1:00 pm. Look for generation to increase if there are no problems down stream at Newport with flooding.
