Good Bite: Awsome

With the lower flows at two and three units the fishing has been outstanding on the the upper end of the White River.  The water has been clear and we’ve received little runoff from the rains.  The lake is going up and at some point this month I’m sure that that generation from the dams will increase.  Midges of various types fished under an indicator are the ticket to catching numbers of fish as well as sculpin patterns and some streamers for brown trout.  Sculpin type flies were working well on rises.  Heavily weighted we were drifting these patterns in two particular areas of the river  with some limited success.
